Muvana (“the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed, how it is used, and how it is protected.
1. Data Collection
Muvana processes health-related and sensor data, such as heart rate and motion activity, as well as limited contextual information from your Apple Watch and iPhone. All data processing occurs entirely on your device.
2. Data Usage
The processed data is used solely to detect mood states and recommend music playlists within the App. Muvana does not sell, share, or transmit personal, health, or usage data to third parties, and no such data is stored on external servers.
3. Data Storage
Muvana does not maintain external databases containing user data. All health and mood-related information remains on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, certain non-health app preferences and playback-related data may be securely stored in your personal iCloud account.
4. Security & Encryption
All sensitive data is processed locally on-device using Apple-provided security and encryption mechanisms. Health data does not leave your device. Any data stored via iCloud is protected by Apple’s iCloud security infrastructure.
5. User Controls
You control data access through your device’s system permissions. You may manage or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings. App data can be deleted using the in-app Privacy Dashboard, or by deleting the App, which removes all locally stored data.
